What is PhotoXpress.com?
PhotoXpress.com is a high quality, royalty-free image bank that offers digital images and illustrations to creative professionals. Our trusted network of photographers and partners continue to build the PhotoXpress.com image bank each and every day. Images from our collection may be used in brochures, advertisements, magazines, websites, etc.
Is PhotoXpress.com free to join?
Joining PhotoXpress.com is Free. You may also choose to subscribe to one of our packages to download images for as low as $9.99 per month! Register Now!
How do I log-in?
Logins and passwords are "case sensitive" so be sure that your CAPS LOCK KEY is off and enter them exactly as you did when you created the account. If you experience any issues, you may request a new password or ask for assistance on our support page.
How do I search for files?
There are two easy ways to find images on PhotoXpress:
Enter your keyword(s) in the search box and click on the “search” button (optional: refine your search with advanced search options and categories beside the search button and under the search box).
Alternatively, you may use several of our PhotoXpress plug-ins found here to browse the collection at any time.
How do I contact Customer Support?
Log in to your account and click on the contact support link to send us a message, or visit the contact page.
How do I change my password?
To set up a new password for your PhotoXpress account, please click on "Change your password or email" in your "Profile" section. You can locate your profile information by clicking on your Login name (upper right corner of the page)
What should I do if I forget my password or login name?
If you can't log into your account because you forgot your login name and/or password, you may have your password reset and username sent to you by clicking 'I lost my password' and entering the email address associated with your account. An email with a link will then be sent to you to reset your password.
How do I close my account?
Contact Customer Support at the contact page. If you've subscribed to a PhotoXpress plan, you may be subject to articles in the Subscription agreement.
Can I still use the images if I cancel the account?
If you cancel your account, you will no longer have access to the site and will be unable to download and use any images from PhotoXpress. Images you have downloaded previously are permitted. All terms and conditions for use still apply.
What is "Royalty Free"?
Royalty Free means that if you agree to a set of usage guidelines, you are free to use the licensed image in perpetuity without paying additional royalty charges.
Can I use the images I download from PhotoXpress for professional use?
Yes, all images offered on PhotoXpress may be used in professional settings. Please read our Content Download Agreement (click here to see the Agreement) for more details on usage. If you have any specific inquiries, contact us here and we will be happy to help you.
What is the Content Download Agreement?
The Content Download Agreement is the license that a Member agrees to when downloading files from PhotoXpress. It contains important rights, obligations and restrictions regarding the use of the files downloaded from PhotoXpress. Click here to see the Agreement.
May I use a file as a logo for my company?
No, this is not allowed due to intellectual property issues.
Am I required to add copyright information when I use a photo from PhotoXpress.com?
No, it is not required to add the copyright information to your website or document when you use a Photoxpress photo, however, it is always appreciated. The only time we require copyright information to be added is when the image is being used in conjunction with editorial use such as a newspaper or magazine story.
Here is the correct method to add copyright information:

This information may be put on the photo itself or on a special page. The copyright is displayed during the download of an image. Please note: local laws may require copyright information in some circumstances. Please check your local laws to be sure.
May I resell an image I downloaded from PhotoXpress.com?
Reselling of images from PhotoXpress.com is strictly prohibited.
I would like to add my own images to PhotoXpress.com. How do I do that?
We're happy to have your collection in our library, but at this moment we aren't accepting images directly on our site; however, please contact us at www.photoxpress.com/Info/Contact for other options.
How do I subscribe to a plan?
To subscribe, go to our Upgrade page here. Click on an option best suited for your needs and proceed to the payment screen. You can use Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Paypal to purchase a subscription. After the transaction is complete, your account will be upgraded.
Can I upgrade my old or lower subscription to a Monthly account?
Yes, you can upgrade to any account. Your new account changes will take effect immediately. If you wish for your account to start sooner, please contact us here.
What are my payment options?
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards. Paypal is available as well. Due to some financial institutions restrictions, we recommend customers outside North America use Paypal for smoother processing.
Are prices shown in my currency?
We are a US based company and all prices are shown and charged in US dollars.
Does my subscription auto-renew?
Auto-renewal is optional for Monthly package subscriptions. If you enable auto-renewal, the subscription you previously purchased will renew monthly so you can keep using PhotoXpress. If your needs change from month to month, you can contact customer service for any changes to your subscription.
Do I get to keep my unused downloads next month?
If you have a Monthly package subscription, and have it enabled to auto-renewal, any unused downloads from your previous month will be added to the next month. There are no caps so as long as you continue to auto-renew, you keep all your downloads.
Can I cancel my subscription? Can I get a refund?
Before cancelling, please review the Subscription agreement here. You may qualify for a refund of your purchased subscription given that you are within 72 hours of your purchase and no Works have been downloaded. If you are outside the 72 hours and/or Works have been downloaded, you will not be eligible for a refund.
What happens when my subscription is cancelled?
Unless you purchased another subscription, your subscription features and benefits will expire.
How long can I use my subscription?
Monthly subscriptions expire 30 days from the date of purchase. You have the option to purchase 3, 6, 9 and 12 consecutive 1-month subscriptions which will auto renew based on the plan and length of time chosen.
How can I renew?
Renewing is optional for Monthly plans. You may contact customer service for changes. If you purchase an Anytime plan, you will not be renewed automatically.
Where can I see a summary of my subscriptions?
You can find details of your past and current subscriptions in your Profile page. Click on your name when logged in to view your details.
What is a Lightbox? How does it work?
A Lightbox is a feature on PhotoXpress.com that allows you to save images that you discover in our collection and refer to them later on.
We've made it even easier by creating the Lightbox Dashboard. The dashboard will allow you to drag and drop images, access your saved images anytime, and even download multiple images at once. See our Features section below for more info.
Where do I find the Lightbox Dashboard?
You can find the Lightbox Dashboard at the bottom of your browser when you are logged in. Just click the black coloured bar to expand the view and when you are done with the dashboard, click the bar again to hide it.
How do I create a Lightbox?
With the Lightbox Dashboard open, click the '+' icon at the top right of the dashboard. A pop-up window will open to allow you to name the lightbox. Click enter and your Lightbox will appear in the dashboard.
I made a mistake! How do I rename the Lightbox I just created?
Don't worry. Open up your Lightbox Dashboard and select the Lightbox you want to rename. Click in the tab where the current name appears and start typing the new name.
How do I add images to my Lightbox?
Adding images to your Lightbox is easy. Open up the Lightbox Dashboard, click and hold on the image thumbnail you want from your search and drag it to the Lightbox you would like the image to save to. That's it!
How do I remove images from my Lightbox? How do I move images from one Lightbox to another?
To remove an image from your Lightbox, click the 'x' symbol found in the upper right corner of the image thumbnail. Note that downloading your images with the bulk download tool will also remove all your images from the lightbox.
To move an image to another Lightbox you've created, simply drag the image to the new Lightbox tab.
How do I download multiple images at once?
To download multiple images, use the 'Download All' feature found in the Lightbox Dashboard. You can find this option in the tab of your active Lightbox. Clicking on the icon will start the process. You will need to confirm your email address to proceed with the download.
After the process, we will send you an email with a link to download your images. The link will remain active for 24 hours and you can only download the package once. After downloading, the link will become inactive so make sure you have a strong internet connection before downloading. If you are experiencing any difficulty, please contact support here.
